Was reading Farah blog, regarding young marriage at the age of 20-23.
I was just content that, mostly young marriage is a malay couple.
For me, i'm 22 still schooling, still struggling with love.
I'm not wish to get married, as soon as i obtain a diploma cert in my hands.
As you guys knows if you want to survive in Singapore. Without cert in your hand, better dream on to wish, to have bigger house/car etc. Better upgrade yourself to have secure future.
Education/childcare/ food all the needs for a children is a lot of money to be spend here.
And house, no shelter is a big issue. Is better to save up your money, before married.
Having a house in Singapore is not as cheap as you think.
Applying HDB other hand, is hard. Some couple waited for years, some need to fork out money to buy resale flat. For now i guess, before hand money is 1ok (cash money)
Have a simple wedding, rather then grand ones.
And i prefer no engagement.
Better save up money, rather then having engagement, big weddings.
I, do have my dream wedding. But to think about the future, money is everything. Love is a part of it too :)
I know some of my friends married young, and still survive as a couple.
Not all young marriage lead to divorce. It take 2 hand to clap, to make the marriage works :)
So what age, do you guys want to get married?
